Hi folks,
Some of you may know that I do natural health consulting that's highly personalized for each individual. I think it's pretty unique - even if you went to an herbailst or chiropractor who is working with you personally, they'll give you herbs, or chiropractic adjustments, without stepping back to see the bigger picture and how your diet, supplements, exercise, emotional issues, lifestyle, etc., all fit in.
And they don't work with you in a step-by-step way according to YOUR best style of learning and developing healthier habits. In other words, they give you treatments or instructions and then send you off to figure out how to coordinate that with the rest of your life. And if you go to more than one practitioner, how does everything fit together without creating total chaos?!
Then if you try to do things yourself by researching on the internet, how do you know that some detox method, for example, that worked for some people is right for you - maybe it would actually make you sicker?
Here's another good example I often use - If you have headaches caused by not drinking enough water, throwing herbs at it isn't really a rational approach, is it?! But generally the natural health field is very allopathic in that way. People have favorite tools - herbs, antioxidants, essential oils, detoxification, etc., and they want to throw their favorite tools at everything, to try to make symptoms go away. That's what allopathy is - no real systematic approch based on principle, just whatever shuts up the symptoms. Killing the messenger.
And sometimes symptoms do go away. But do we know why? Do we know whether the symptom has just been suppressed to come back in a worse form later on? No, this hit-or-miss approach that we've become so resigned to is used in conventional medicine as well as the natural health field. And it's actually quite irrational.
Hit-or-miss symptom management really doesn't go very far, and can actually make things worse in the longer run.
To start correcting this situation and help people to build a foundation for health that's grounded in principles of natural law, that is systematic and rational, I've been working with people individually by email for almost five years now (although I've managed online health forums and have been helping people informally since the early 1990's).
Having earned certificiation as a Dynamic Regimen Counselor, I've recently re-invented my practice as Dynamic Regimen and Nutrition Counseling , http://dynamicregimen.com. It focuses on counseling by email.
But all the free goodies I used to offer are still available! - on my Guide for Self-Healing website. I'll maintain that as an informational resource. It contains selected links to mail-order food and supplement sources, and over 80 original articles on many topics of natural health, from a deeper perspective than you'll commonly see on sites like Dr. Mercola and others.
So I hope people will continue to take advantage of the resources there. And to learn more about my consulting service, take a look at my new Dynamic Regimen site.
Wishing all a blessed new year,
