"MPs call for early action on geoengineering regulation"...
http://news.parliament.uk/2010/03/mps-call-for-early-action-on-geoengi neering-regulation/
"Arrangements for the regulation of geoengineering must not be left until highly disruptive climate change is underway, warns the Science and Technology Committee in a report published today.
* Report: The Regulation of Geoengineering
* Commons Science and Technology Committee
Serious consideration for regulation should start now and the Committee urges the UK and other governments to 'prime the UN pump' in order to ensure the best chance of eventual multilateral agreement to a UN-operated regulatory framework.
The Committee outlines three reasons why regulation is needed;
* Future geoengineering techniques may allow a single country unilaterally to affect the climate of the Earth
* Small-scale geoengineering testing is already underway
* Geoengineering as a 'Plan B' may be required if 'Plan A' - the reduction of greenhouse gases - fails"
'Small scale' seems like a bit of an understatement to me !!! _________________ 'Magic' is just a name for stuff that 'science' hasn't figured out yet. |

| I recently came across a news blurb about Obama having talks of geoengineering. The article outlined ideas of dispersing certain substances into the atmosphere but noted that they had to figure out what the best delivery system would be. LOL, like they already haven't figured that out. Pitching ideas of possibly shooting it up and so forth. Nice campaign of disinformation. The question is, why do they have to alert the public now? Is it bc to many people are noticing and the information is traveling quickly through the internet or do they have to ramp up spraying so much that it would just be painfully obvious? |
