I have a cat I let stay inside because of sore paws, and today she was sphinxing with her paws over the edge of the couch. I put a small piece of hamburger about 6 inches to her right, she could smell it but didn't move. So I thought I would try something. (I had just finished reading 'Lord of Thunder' by Andre Norton) I imagined supperimposing my head in the the same space as hers and then looking right. She turned her head and looked right at it, but it didn't register and she looked back. So I tried again. She looked again
and after a second it crossed her mind to be curious, and she got up to investigate.
A very odd funny thing.
