Its not the wierd demeanor of the cashiers who work at theese stores that makes you not want to go back, becuase that is just a minor issue.
Its not so much the odd customers or lack of communication problems they have with the cashier that makes you not want to go back.
Its more like the toxic CFL lights the low cieling stores line thier cielings with making people edgy and wierd while they grab thier toxic products and go. Ive seen this quite a few times.
Its also the fact you explain this to the persons working there and the zombiefied response you get from them means they dont care about there own health.
The food products are not that good for you either.
Just about as bad as safeway.
Society would be better without theese types of bussiness, and i can think of quite a few others , another post another day.
I would avoid them both like an STD.

| That reminds me of the beginning scenes of Joe vs. the Volcano (with Tom Hanks), and the terrible lighting he had to work under. |

My first choice of lighting is the sun- but that's not really something I'm in control of. My second choice is candles or fire (which unfortunately cause a small amount of air pollution). My third choice is regular, plain old light bulbs (these seem to be the best compromise in terms of practicality), though I'll have to buy some of those full spectrum bulbs to see how they compare. Fluorescent lighting is my very last choice. I'd rather use glow-sticks. _________________ "No problem can be solved by the same state of consciousness that created it." -Albert Einstein |

Sorry I just saw this...
The full-spectrum lightbulbs are very nice, I have some in my apartment, both the lightbulb shape and the long pipe shape. I bought these here in Japan and they were quite expensive!!! I also ordered one from mercola.com, since he sells them pretty cheap, but unfortunately the size was just a tiny bit different so I it would not fit into the socket (I gave it to a guest who lives in the USA).
I really like the ones I'm using now. |
