Very oftenly I have lucid dreams. 2 or 3 days ago I had another one. In the middle of the dream I tell myself "I am in a dream, and I must NOT forget that I am in a dream" (in french of course because I'm a french-speaking guy). This lucid dream lasted the longest I had until now. But I did not do intelligent things. I tried to fly (trying to switch on fire under my foot) and tried to send energy with my hands, but I wasn't able to do that... When I was looking at my foot while trying to switch fire power under them, I felt that I was already in the air (at a very low altitude, some centimeters).
When I was very young, approx. 10 years old (I'm now 31), when I was in a lucid dream i used to break everything because I told myself "I'm in a dream so I can do anything I can't in the 'real' life"...
Next time I'll try to get to another place by closing my eyes and asking/thinking of being at another place on Earth.
And... The last lucid dream I had was by placing 2 pieces of towerbusters under my bed, one at the level of my head, and the 2nd one at the middle of my body, UNDER the bed... |

Hey,
The author of this post is wrong, it was originally me who wrote it. Did the forum software do something funky?

Well, I havn't really been practicing per-se, I'm not really in an environment that is conducive to practicing at the moment. But...
Sometimes, whenever I get into that state in my dreams, I am starting to have less fear and almost being able to 'look around', though my 'vision' is really, really bad. It feels like I'm traveling maybe, but I can't see anything
When I start trying to travel (I don't even know if I am), I get this really intense noise in my 'head', and I can tell my conscious is just slightly above the dream state, but no where near fully conscious. |

Hi Claydo
I had some of these types of things happen to me when I was young but never able to see anything. Never seem able do the real time OBE stuff. Yes it is typically noisy. I had one time when I was in this state I opened my eyes physicaly and could see with the noise still active but could not move until the noise was gone.
I had episode of flying around in the dark and would do a complete 360 degree loop and aerobatics. This is typical of alter states of conciousness such as the astral.
One episode in church I sort of had a remote view event but was brief but very vivid but faded out within a few seconds. I saw through someones eyes at a desk and saw an analog stop watch like you see in 60 minuets tv news show so when the guy moved his hand with a pencil in his hand it quickly faded from view (Gave me the impression of some kind of timed test with someone like a psychologist examining somebody) I woke up in church a little puzzeled since it seem so real. I was in effect sleeping in church when I was young.
Robert Bruce is got some interesting theories from his lastest book on Astral Travel, OBE (Out of Body Experiance) and Higher States of Conciouness and appears to be quite an authority on the subject of Astral Travel and OBE since he does most of this stuff such as real time OBE for practical purpose involving his business.
